Where's your Bubbler?

I can finally show what few projects I've been working on for the last few weeks, now that they've been given as gifts!

These are some amazing pillows I made from a t-shirt that I found at the Wisconsin State Fair in the Brew City shop.  They are 18" pillows using a 2-XL shirt size.  They turned out awesome, and I think I might have a thing for t-shirt pillows now!

I found this while I was cleaning out my sewing area last week.  It's my grandmothers, and I love that Tupperware was involved in sewing parties!

And here's a shot of me sewing my latest quilt, a Shot Cotton challenge for the Modern Quilt Guild Milwaukee.  I finished the quilt top, but you'll have to wait till it's quilted to see the end results!

Finally, here's my latest fabric purchases, from JoAnn's.  The top two are from Anna Maria Horner's debut collection.  Gotta love the wicker; we have two chairs with that exact pattern on them!  Then this bold, lovely print that I have no idea what I'm going to do with.  Just one of those had to have prints I guess!

Just a quickie!

Just a quickie right now. Lots of stuff I would like to post about, I can't until they are given to their new owners! My sewing area's been cleaned...somewhat. Still a work in progress I'd say.   Pictures above are some piles of fabric that I'm trying to decide on for a friend. She's asked for an iPod cover/band for her to take to the gym. The only trouble is picking fabric to match her personality from 'my' stash.

Other things I'm working on is the Shot Cotton fabric challenge from the Modern Quilt Guild Milwaukee. My color to work with is in the far right bottom corner of the above picture-Blueberry. I'm pretty happy with my challenge fabric; we'll see if that still applies when I'm quilting this.  More to come in the next few weeks, and as an end note---go to the Wisconsin State Fair!!! Mission accomplished!
