I'm feeling ambitious...

Well, it's been a LONG time since my last post here.  I've finished four projects--three quilts and one pillow case, since my last post.  One quilt was a Christmas present for my Dad, another an upcoming gift for a baby shower, and finally one for me to sell on Etsy.  These will be posted below.  I'm also starting on another quilt that I can't decide if I'll sell or give as a present.  Everyone around me is having babies, so it's a bit much to keep up with! ; )  Not that I mind.  another recent development has been the addition of a walking foot to my sewing machine!!! SUPER HAPPY!  Makes my quilting so much nicer.  The next thing I'll get will be a darning foot attachment so I can do cute, free-motion quilting.

Made out of old work t-shirts and some soft navy flannel.

This is the quilt that is for sale on my Etsy page.

Fleece pillow made for a friend.

My first panel quilt, with a yellow flannel backing.

Here's a little hint of the next project I'm working on...

'Tis the Season!

Since my last post, life's been crazy!  I had my first sale on Etsy, celebrated Thanksgiving with family and drove my best friend out to Arizona from Wisconsin.   Also, Christmas came early this year.  Santa gave me an iPhone 4, which was especially useful on the trip to Arizona.  Here's a few photos from the trip and my sales on Etsy.

Above-Going through Iowa and Kansas City.

Notice all this snow?  Yeah, we hit a blizzard in New Mexico.  Thankfully, we found a hotel in Moriarty and spent the night.   Great place to stay, the people were so nice!

Leaving New Mexico and entering Flagstaff, Arizona.

Both sold at my shop, CozyCrafts on Etsy!  : )

Good Luck and Happy Birthday all in one!

Here's the latest project, a small lap quilt made from scraps leftover from a coaster project.  The front is multicolored floral prints with some lace sewn in places and the back is flannel.

This was a going away / birthday present for a friend.  She had originally picked out the fabric for a coaster project, which she was never able to finish.  So I used the left over's for a nice gift for her.
